User Experience (UX) is the process of enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction between the user and the product. The goal of user experience is to make a product easy to use, accessible to all populations (including people with disabilities), consistent, and enjoyable for all types of users. UX is not just about websites or mobile apps; it’s a business approach that focuses on how your customers achieving their goals.
How to get good User Experience for your Application
The first step in defining UX is figuring out what we mean by “user”. In our context, it’s anyone who interacts with your product or service: customers, employees, partners and suppliers.
We use the term “customer” to encompass all people who interact with your product or service in one way or another. People don’t just buy products (or services, for that matter). We aim to satisfy their needs, and the success of those efforts is dependent on everything we do as product designers: determining what they want, how they want it done and what they feel when they see it.
When customers interact with your product, they will inevitably focus on a variety of factors: 1) price and convenience,
4) delivery time
5) brand value
6) any additional considerations unique to their given situation.
All these elements are crucial for creating a well-rounded experience for your customers (and potential customers) in every interaction.
Note: the term “customer experience” is used interchangeably with “UX”, this article will use the terms interchangeably.
1) Market Research
Before you can even begin to think about designing a user experience for your product, you need to know something about who exactly you’re designing for! UX professionals typically rely on market research studies in order to determine which aspects are most important to customers or users.
Research studies are conducted before any prototypes are created and help define even more important things that you should consider while designing. For example, it might be beneficial to know whether customer value is different among different customer types: small business vs. large companies, local vs. international markets, etc. Surveys can also be used to collect feedback on existing products and services to help improve the current experience.
2) Define Goals for Users
Setting goals is a key step in the UX process. These goals can be defined either at an individual level, for a specific person, or at a systems level, for the entire customer base. Setting goals allows you to align your product with the individual needs of users and understand what really matters to them. On top of that, it helps you anticipate their expectations and develop features that will make your product more desirable.
3) Design User Interfaces
Once you’ve determined what your users want, it’s time to design a wireframe of the desired system. There are many different methods for laying out interfaces and building interfaces, so depending on how complex your product is, you might need to use more than one method.
4) Build Prototypes
A prototype does exactly what its name implies: it’s a mock-up of what the final product may look like. Prototypes can be as simple or as complicated as you want, and can also range from functional to interactive experiences as well as static image mock-ups.

The main goal of UX is to make sure that everything fits together: the look and feel; the interaction between design elements; all aspects of the service should fit together seamlessly.
Before you release your new product to the public, it’s important to test it with real users. A final version of the finished product is never 100% correct, so run a series of tests with representative groups of people. This way you can make sure that your products are exactly what you want them to be and test how they’re going to work in different scenarios.
This also helps make your newly designed product more usable and consistent from one iteration to another.
